The purpose of the organisation was to provide school holiday
camping facilities for indigenous youth from Central Western
Queensland, namely Dajarra, Boulia, Urandangi, Mt Isa and
Camooweal. Other objectives of the organization included
workshop facilities for cultural arts and crafts and other such
activities aimed at providing an educational base for indigenous
       youth.

The organisation has provided for school holiday camps for
indigenous children from all over Queensland at the Minniecons
property at Lowmead in central Queensland.

The Corporation’s members at the AGM in December 2000
decided to elect a steering committee to review the current
Corporation’s Rules and objectives and to recommend changes
to the rules and objectives of the Corporation that would
provide for representation of the members of the Corporation
in their pursuit of Native Title.

The steering Committee’s recommendations have included the
Corporation being representative of all Kabi Kabi descendants
of one Sarah Lloyd of whom the Minniecon and Lingwoodock
clan are direct descendants with the view of the pursuit of
their clans. Native Title claims through the Lonweigh Aboriginal
       Corporation.
